Unlike an indoor stove that can be labor-intensive and dirty and won’t provide heat evenly throughout your entire house, the Maxim can deliver days or weeks of heat from its safe outdoor location.

Easy to load with large integrated hopper.
The large, top-loading door gives easy access to the Wood Master hopper. Holds up to 12 bags of wood pellets (or 11 bushels of corn) to heat for days (or even weeks) on a single fuel load. CONVENIENT OPERATION
Based on your personalized needs, the Wood Master FireStar® II electronic controller from Quackenbush Hardware Store automatically controls the water temperature, heat output and air settings. Starting the fire in Wood Master furnaces is as easy as pushing a button with the automatic electronic ignition.
USE LESS FUEL
The Maxim’s electric ignition saves fuel. When there is no call for heat, the controller stops adding fuel and lets the fire goes out. When heat is once again needed, the electric ignition relights the fire. Spray-on urethane is the ultimate airtight, waterproof insulation that locks the heat in to reduce fuel usage, even at temperatures of -35˚F or colder. It provides 2-3 times the effective R-value of conventional fiberglass batt insulation. Fiberglass batt insulation also settles and compresses over time.
DURABILITY AND RELIABILITY
Maxim furnaces are manufactured with attention to detail. From its sealed and permanently lubricated gear drive (no chains or sprockets to worry about) to the aerator in the burn chamber that agitates the fuel and adds oxygen to the center of the fire, every component must meet the highest Wood Master standards.

Durable...easy to operate...and a very efficient design. WOOD MASTER STRYKER log splitters are highway towable and have been proven as the preferred log splitter because they operate for many trouble-free years.
EVERY STRYKER LOG SPLITTER IS...
All STRYKER log splitters feature the hallmark 2-way splitting action, splitting on both the forward and reverse stroke, and doubling productivity.
A standard splitter has very little bearing area, which is often steel or brass on steel. This makes edges sharp and causes power-robbing friction. The STRYKER log splitter has four replaceable plastic sliders. One square foot per side gives a huge bearing area and lasts for years.
The STRYKER design lets the butt of each block “bend” around the stop, allowing more wood to be split so much easier.
Standard splitters have a dangerous bending movement. There is no bending movement in the STRYKER log splitter because the cylinder is mounted in the center of the frame, pushing directly down the frame.
